🔒 The Cells — nobody stays kidnapped just because the message scrolled away

There is a room you can walk into now, and everyone being held is in it.

Until today the only way to pay a ransom, storm in after somebody or settle up was the original snatch message. Lose it — half an hour of chatter, a busy night — and the hostage was stuck until the clock ran out. Nobody could help them even if they wanted to.

The Cells lists every single person being held right now: who has them, what the ransom is at this minute, and how long they have. Pick anyone on the list and you get the full card — pay their ransom, go in and get them, or settle if they're yours.

If it's you in there, the panel says so — and reminds you that you can't fight your own way out. Somebody has to come.

Open it from /menu → Mafia → The Cells, or just run /kidnap with nobody named.

And the last two doors got their art. The Casino and the Board were the only rooms on /menu still opening onto plain text — they now have banners like everywhere else.
