Privacy Policy
Plain and honest: Avarice Game Night is a game, not a data business. We store the least we can — only what is needed to know who you are inside the game — and nothing about your real life. This page tells you exactly what that means.
What we store — and only this
The whole of it is:
- Your Discord profile basics: your Discord user id, your display name, and your avatar image. This is the public profile Discord already shows everyone in the server. We keep it for one reason — so the game knows which player is you and can show your name on a card and a leaderboard.
- Your in-game data: your coin balance and your bingo record (nights played, wins, and similar counts). This is created by playing; it does not exist anywhere until you play.
- A random link code / device tag: a meaningless random string that ties this phone or browser to your Discord account after you link. It identifies a device, not a person, and points to nothing outside this game.
That is the complete list. If it is not above, we do not have it.
What we do NOT store or collect — ever
- No real-life information. No real name, no email address, no phone number, no home or billing address, no date of birth, no government or payment details. We never ask for any of it, so we can never hold it.
- No location. We do not collect GPS, and we do not log or store your IP address to profile you.
- Nothing trackable. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising profile built by us, no cross-site tracker, no cookie that follows you around the web. We do not watch what you do on other sites and we could not if we wanted to — the code to do it is simply not here.
- No selling, no sharing. We never sell your data and never hand it to a third party, except the strictly technical ad case described below.
Where it lives
Your game data sits on the community's own game server. On your device, the app keeps the random device tag and a little game state in local storage, and caches the app's files so it loads fast and works offline. Clearing this site's data in your browser wipes the local part; ask a server administrator to remove your game record.
Advertising (the one third party)
Menu screens may show ads from Google AdSense — never during a round. To do that, Google and its partners may set their own cookies to serve and measure ads; that part is Google's, not ours, and it is the only outside party involved. Because some players are minors, this site requests non-personalised ads and tags every request as directed to users who may be under the age of consent, which restricts what Google may target. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland a Google-certified consent message asks your choice before any such cookies are used. See how Google handles this at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Questions or removal
Want to see what is stored about you, or have it deleted? Message a server administrator in the Avarice Discord and we will sort it out — there is a real person behind this, not a company.
